Chapter 8

Khushi was so excited she had finally found a solution to not get bored. Arnav got her the potters wheel and she was now in charge of the kitchen. SHe went into the huge kitchen to find all the cooks waiting for her instructions. There were huge pots and pans with all the vegetables in the world. A whole shelf of spice and different ingredients. Khushi was amazed with the amount of stuff that the kitchen had. One of the cooks came on and said

HP: Madam what would you like us to cook for today

Khushi: (gearing up she said) Nothing. Today i will cook

Hp: Are you sure mam

Khushi: Yes for sure. Can you help me and tell me what Arnavji likes

HP: Mam Sire likes a loo puri and Shilleena madam likes Aloo paratha

Khushi: great i will get started.

She smiled as she got on to cooking their favorite dishes. She fired the puris in oil and put the final touches on the aloo ka sabji. When she heard Shilleena come down with Lavanaya

Shilleena: MMm Something smells nice

Khushi smiled and then said: I hope so i cooked today

Shilleena: Nice i am excited. ( she then turned to her and said) Khushi this is Lavanaya she is Shyams sister

Khushi: (smiled) Hi Lavanaya

Lavanaya: (smiled back sweetly) Hi khushi i heard all good things about you, so nice to finally meet you

Khushi beamed and then Shilleena said

Shilleena: SO even she and Akash are joining us today for dinner i hope you made extra

Khushi: Yes off course i have, it would be nice

Shilleena: I know especially for Lavanaya finally you will meet Akash (she teased her)

Lavanya blushed and then Khushi said

Khushi: You and Akash bhai are together

Lavanya nodded and then said: Yes we have been together since we were 10 years old but no one knows.

Khushi: (smiled and then said) Not even Arnavji

Shilleena: well he knows but pretends not to, so typical of bhai

They were talking in the kitchen when they heard Hp call out to serve the dinner. Shilleena and Lavanay went and sat down in their respective places and Khushi brought the food. Her heart started to beat faster and faster as she served the food she was nervous that he wont like it.

He sat on the table and she stood beside him. He smiled at her and said sweetly

Arnav: come sit next to me

Khushi: sat on the chair next to him.

The rest of the people took their places and then Hp served the food. Khushi chanted her devi maya's over a 1000 times out of nervousness. Arnav broke a piece of the puri and clubbed it with the aloo. And slowly popped it into his mouth. Khushi's hands were clasped she was nervous Shilleena and Lavanaya could tell. As soon as he took the bite he had no expressions on his face. SHe was terrified he would've hated. Then he turned to her and said

Arnav: (smirked at her and said) You made this

She nodded silently with a pout. He found it adorable and then he said with a genuine smile

Arnav: Wow khushi your such a good cook

Khushi beamed for the sky she was blushing her heart became light and she was so happy she gave him the most beautiful smile and thanked him for the compliment Shileena then said

Shilleena: Khushi you can breath now (she chuckled and so did every one else)

Akash: (taking a helping of food he said) But this is really good khushi, (he turned to Arnav and then said) Arnav my boy you did a wise job by handing that kitchen to Khushi she cooks so well (he licked his fingers)

They all ate dinner peacefully enjoying each others company and having a good time amongst each other. it was late night now Khushi was just cleaning up as she dusted the kitchen Arnav instructed the servants to leave. He slowly came behind her and held her by the waist and buried his head in her shoulder. She smiled and then he said

Arnav: Hmm come to bed

Khushi: I can't i have to clean up

Arnav: Khushi you live in a palace with servants at your beck and call let them do it

Khushi: i wish could but i wont because all these are your servants not mine and besides i like cleaning up.

Arnav: (rolling his eyes he said irritated) You are so weird (saying that he left her and went up)

She folded the rug she knew he was annoyed at her. She felt bad he had done so much for her and she didn't listen to him. She was suppose to listen to him as per their deal. But more than that he had done so much for her, She instructed Hp to do the rest, and quietly climbed up the stairs and entered his room. The lights were shut.

Khushi: Arnavji are you there

There was no answer. There was only loneliness and silence. She was scared of the dark. She came towards the bed to find it empty. She again said

Khushi: Arnavji i am sorry please come out, i didn't want to upset you

Still no response. She was now restless and her heart started to beat faster and faster. She was scared. She began to cry. until she bumped into some one with a broad chest. She touched his chest and stopped at his heart. Arnav looked down at her she was terrified. On realizing it was Arnav, She caught hold of him tightly and hugged him, dropping her head on his chest she stuck to him and cried

Khushi: I am sorry i made you upset i will never do it again i promise you please dont be angry (she cried while sniffing)

He didn't react he just stood still, her tears went against his heart and it started to make a whole in his heart. he took a deep breath and put an arm around her, taking her in his warmth he said

Arnav: Shh relax, its ok

Khushi: (crying she said) No its not ok, i am bad you did so much for me and i dint listen to you

Arnav: Khush calm down its fine, your here now and i am ok

Khushi: (lifting her head from his chest she asked in a cute voice) U aren't upset

Arnav: not any more

Khushi breathed a sigh of relief, he shifted her hair and tucked it behind her ears. She came up from his chest and looked at him. He lit the candles so light would come in and then Khushi laid on the bed. He removed his shirt and came on top of her and began kissing her. He took her in his mouth and she moaned in full passion.
