As they walked out of the village place. Arnav took a deep breath Khushi looked at him all shocked not knowing what to say to him. Akash and Shyam followed him out and then Akash said

Akash: Arnav what the hell was that (he asked stunned)

Arnav: No one talks bad about her (he held her hand tight and said protectively)

Akash: (chuckled) OMg Shillee was right. (he looked at khushi and then said with a smile) Hi i am Akash by the way. I am the general of the army and Arnav's close friend

Khushi smiled at greeted him Shyam was confused and Arnav rolled his eyes and then said

Arnav: Ok enough, I am taking her to the market to shop i will meet you back at the place

Akash nodded and then Shyam said

Shyam: Your majesty as your advisor  I feel right now is not a good time for you to go into the market after so much happening its not safe

Arnav: nonosense i am not scared of any one we are going,

Akash: yeah take two armed guards with you incase you know (he said thoughtfully)

Arnav nodded and they left.

As they entered the market things seemed normal the guards followed them around. They walked through the streets passing all the shops. For Khushi this day was just so twisted the only thing that ran through her mind was what is wrong with Arnav and why he is behaving so strange all of a sudden. Arnav on the other hand wanted to make Khushi feel like she is not just rubbish but means alot to him, thats why he took her opinion in the meeting because he wanted to see what she felt and what kind of person she was. As they passed many shops nothing caught her eye until she saw a big cart which was filled with all kinds of colored bangles. Glass ones beaded ones and even glittery ones. She left Arnav's hand and went over to the cart. Arnav followed a smile came on Khushi's face and she exclaimed forgetting her tension

Khushi: Wow bangles (her lips pursed into a )

Arnav: (smiled to seeing her smile it made him forget his trouble looking on he said) Your fond of bangles

Khushi: I love them they are so colorful

Arnav smirked as Khushi picked up the beautiful royal blue bangles in front of her and said

Khushi: Bhayaji yeah kitne ka hain

Bhaya: yeah 10 rupya ka hain

Khushi: Arrey aise kaise thick thick bato, these are too expensive

Bhaya: No they aren't madam the market price is this

Khushi was arguing when Arnav looked at her and then said

Arnav: Its only 10 rupees whats the big deal (he rolled his eyes)

Khsuhi: (opened her mouth wide and said) Arnavji 10 rupees is a lot

Arnav: Calm down ok (he looked at the shop keeper and said) how much for your whole cart

Shop keeper: Your majesty (he said shocked)

Arnav: I want to buy your whole cart so much

Khushi: (blurted out in a hurry) WHat the !! (in shock)

This make Arnav raise his eye brow and smirk at her cuteness the shop keeper said

Shop keeper: Sir around 1000 rupees

Arnav removed his wallet and removed the money and handed it to him and then said

Arnav: pack them up and if you get any more designs come to the palace and show them if they are good we will buy them

The shop keeper nodded with happiness of his face. Arnav held Khushi's hand and took her ahead. She left his hand and walked silently. They headed towards the carriage and came back to the palace. throughout there was silence. They took another route and came into the palace from another entrance Khushi didn't bother to ask she was finding this day more and more weird.

The horses lead them towards the beach. Arnav escorted Khushi towards the soft sandy area. Where in the middle of was a table and 2 chairs and a candle lit in the middle. He smirked and asked

Arnav: i hope you hungry its time for dinner

Khushi just nodded. He sat her down and then sat opposite to her. The servers began serving and there was total silence. Arnav broke it by saying

Arnav: so i hope you enjoyed today

Khushi: Why are you doing this (she finally asked)

Arnav: (raised his eye brows and said) doing what khushi

Khsuhi: this ok, (she gestured with hand actions) first i thought this would just be one of your tricks when you asked me to spend time with you and all. But when we left and in the village the way you asked me for my choice i couldn't believe it and you counted my suggestion too.

Arnav: i just wanted to know what you though whats the big deal

Khushi: (started shouting) The BIG DEAL !! the big team is that you actually walked what i said since when did u do that and how come you took the boy and girls side its not like you to do such things

Arnav: Khushi i only did what any good king would do (he smirked and then said) what you spoke was right so thats why i agreed to you

Khushi: (paused and then said)Ok and whats was with the whole bangle thing why did you buy his whole cart

Arnav: (stuttered here he didn't want to let out everything so quick and so he said) Uh.. UH.. Khushi look its not big deal relax. all the bangles are not for you

Khushi: (confused said) I don't follow

Arnav: well some are for Shilly she likes bangles 2 so relax, you choose the ones you like and she will choose the rest (he covered up, Khushi kept quite, and then he asked) is there anything else you want to ask or question me about

Khushi nodded and looked down and ate her food silently not knowing what to tell him. Arnav smirked her cute little nose turned red. After dinner they walked on the beach hand in hand and then Khushi said

Khushi: there is one thing would want to ask you

Arnav: and whats that

Khsuhi: why are you so nice to me today ??

Arnav: (rolled his eyes and said) not again Khushi

KHushi: no Arnavji please tell me whats going on ??

Arnav: (took a deep breath and then said) I just want to get to know you ok, thats all. come on Khushi can't we get along (he asked)

Khushi: (looked at him he seemed genuine and her heart told her and so she smiled at him and said) Ok i guess your right we can try to get along. (she smirked and said) by the way your not so bad you know, i had fun today

Arnav: (raised his eye brows and then said) Excuse me,

Khushi: (shrugged) What, when you asked me to join you on this outing i thought we would land up puling each others hair in the end, but we didn't (she looped her arm around his, snuggled closer and then said) But it kinda feels nice i mean walking by the sea like this

Arnav: (rolled his eyes and then said) Don't under estimate me. (he warned her)

As the wind blew in the salt sea foam washed across the sandy surface, It was nice and romantic the two unknown lovers walked and talked and Khushi seemed to open up to him quick. then she said

Khushi: Arnavji there is one more thing

Arnav: now what

Khushi: well now what happens after this i mean what kind of relation do we have (she paused and then said) Are you still going to court me

Arnav: (knew this was coming he said with a smirk) Well khushi after today i guess we can think of our relationship as friends.

Khushi smiled at him it felt nice to be his friend. Then Arnav said

Arnav: but your punishment is still pending so your not off the hook (he raised his eye brows at her)

Khushi: (confused and worried said) But i don't understand

Arnav: well khushi we are friends but friends with benefits. I will still court you

Khushi just nodded and agreed she seemed fine with this arrangement, it seemed this softness from Arnav was making her feel nice. They stop at the end of the sea line and then Arnav said in a husky voice

Arnav: I am sealing our deal

In a swift second he pulled her into a passionate kiss, Khushi's heart started to beat faster and faster, as she responded to his lips with the same amount of passion and fire. Arnav loved it he pierced his tongue into hers and she twirled hers with his. It felt great for both of them. Even though she didn't understand the concept of friends with benefits so well, she still was open to it. She had developed a liking towards him, a feeling of love and protection,. She felt safe with him. As they broke the kiss they breathed heavily and then Arnav picked her up in his arms and took her into the near by room.
