Chapter 4

He looked out of his tower window towards the garden his yes firmly on the figure who was resting on the swing. Shyam watched Khushi and observed her features seeing every inch of her eying her. He had made up his mind that one day when he became king would make her his bride and make her queen. His thoughts diverted to Arnav and how he was  going to get rid of him. The thought of him being king was irritating him and what added on was Arnav's courting activities with khushi. He couldn't stand to see her with Arnav. Some thing had to be done and it had to be done fast.

At the same point of time Arnav also was standing at the balcony looking down at her. She was so beautiful her sweet innocent eyes, her cute little nose and those plump red lips. Arnav heart beat raised as he admired her from the distance. What was it about this girl that drove him so crazy. He remembered Shilleena's words, when she told him that he should not only use her for sex but should try to get to know her. After all he did want to he knew it in his heart that he wanted to keep her here his whole life he wanted her there by his side for eternity. She was the one. He took a deep breath and looked over her again she looked sad and depressed. When she was around people she would show she was happy but alone by herself she would sit for hours gazing at the horizon. Arnav mentally cursed himself for her state he wanted to see that smile that happiness that fire in her, the same fire he had witnessed when they kissed each other. He had seen that fire in her eyes, the warmth of her skin and the response from her lips, he wanted more. He knew he just didn't want her for meaningless sex. He wanted much more he wanted her love her passion and her desire. Closing his fist into a ball he was unable to see her in this state and made a decision

Shyam on the other hand took a breath, he turned around to find his younger sister sitting on the bed and counting some flowers she had collected. Lavanya looked up with a smile on her face and said

Lavanya: Bhaya doesn't this look beautiful

Shyam: (rolled his eyes he said) What is wrong with you, You should not be here counting flowers. Go get to work

Lavanaya: Bhai but.. (she looked scared)

Shyam: no buts just go get to work, web Arnav around your love so he can't see anything beyond that, sleep with him if u have to but go do it, its the only way we can get the kingdom

Lavanaya: Bhai please i don't want to please (she begged)

Shyam: (shouting almost raising his had on her he stopped and said in anger) Lavanaya god help me control my anger the last thing i need is your drama just go do what i say or else i will sell you off to those soldiers or the neighboring state.

Lavanaya looked sad and disheartened by her brothers threats she was scared and worried Shyam was such a bully and to get what he wants he would go to any extent. How could she hit on Arnav he was more like a friend to her, a brother perhaps. Her heart belonged to one person only and that one person was Akash. She loved him she wanted to marry him and live her life with him. As she walked down the stairs in a crying state she bumped into Shilleena who was her best freind. Now Shilleena and Arnav hated shyam but both had a soft corner with Lavanaya because she was so cute and sweet in nature.

Shilleena: la what happened why are you crying

La: (hugged her) Oh shilleena (she cried)

Shilleena: La stop crying tell me what happened

La told Shilleena everything and she was so irritated she was about to walk up and give a peace of her mind to Shyam but La stopped her saying that they should not underestimate his powers. Shilleena was so irritated and she knew she had to find a way out because the kingdom in Shyam's hands go down in ruins and also it was the respect of their family, she knew she couldn't go to Arnav as well because he would explode and bring the whole palace down and La would be in trouble this had to be played smartly. La and she were sitting and talking when she came up with a plan.

Meanwhile Khushi walked into the palace she headed off towards her room when she bumped into Shyam, He gave her a creepy smile, Khushi just smiled back at him and then Shyam said

Shyam:  Hi i am the Kings advisor Shyam Jha, please to meet you madam

Khushi: (smiled and said) Hello kind sir my name is Khushi

Shyam: yes i know i was there that day, how are you liking the palace

Khushi: (shrugging she said) Its nice

Arnav who walked out of the study saw Khushii getting familiar with Shyam and he didn't like it even a bit, His heart boiled with the "CAPITAL J" he was so annoyed how dare he look at khushi, she belonged only to him no one else.  Arnav flinched as he walked firmly towards them. Khushi was shocked to see him. He looked so handsome in his princely  clothes.

Shyam: Your majesty good afternoon

Arnav: (nodded irritated he said) WHat is it

Shyam: (hesitant he said) I just came to say hello to Khushiji and wish her for the day

Arnav: (was sure short jealous) well it will have to wait Khushi and i have unfinished business to look at

Saying that he dragged her along with him to the other side of the palace where there was peace and quite, leaving Shyam standing there with anger written all over him.  Khushi was super muddled up with what was going and had not a clue of what was going 2 happen next. There was silence in the air and none spoke a word. They just looked into each others eyes with absolute intensity. Arnav broke the silence and said in a soft voice

Arnav: Khushi are you ok

Khushi: Yes Arnavji.. (she realized what she said and then covered her mouth and quickly said) I am sorry your majesty i really am please forgive me (she flinched in worry)

Arnav: (hearing her call him, that a warmth spread through him, and he smirked it had a ring to it and no one ever had called him that, perhaps Khushi could. He looked at her calmly and slowly pulled her close holding her waist he said) Calm down its ok

Khushi stopped her hyperness and then looked at him in utter shocked was he actually behaving himself and being nice to her she looked blank and then he said

Arnav: In fact i kinda like it you can call me that (he said with a smirk)

Khushi now really didn't know what to say, she looked at him with big huge eyes and her mouth wide open, Arnav though she looked adorable and too cute, he had to get her back to normal and s he said)

Arnav: Quit starring at me like that

Khushi: (shut her mouth and then slowly touched his head Arnav watched as she placed her warm hands on him. she said) Your ok na, is something wrong with you.... Are you sick

Arnav: (confused he ask) WHAT THE !! what do you mean

Khushi: (shocked answered) Your being nice to me thats why, i am mean since i have come here the only thing that i have done is spend time in your bed room doing you know what... (she paused and looked at him, he seemed calm and intrigued by her) Something is not right did u get up from the wrong side of the bed

Arnav: (rolled his eyes and said) Khushi relax i am not sick and i am nice because well i don't want you to feel like you are just being used for you know what, thats not why i kept you here(he hinted)

Khushi: (now getting curious folded her hands and asked him) really if i am not kept here for that then what is it. Why else have you kept me here

Arnav: (paused and stunned by her question, he took a deep breath and said in a calm voice) look i am here because i was thinking that for a change would you like to spend some time with me

Khushi: (even more curious said) what did u have in mind

Arnav: I am expected into town early this evening to make an appearance at the market place and i was hoping you would come with me since you know your way there, and after that we can come back and enjoy a cozy dinner at the palace sea shores and then head back if you are too tired

Khushi: (had no idea where all this was common from and so she said) OK Aravji i have no idea why the change of heart for me, but if you have planned so much then fine i will accompany you but there is one problem

Arnav: (raising his eye brows he asked) And whats that

Khushi: (explained) well you see the thing is that, since every one saw me in your arms on that day, they may think wrong i mean i am going to the market place after a long time what if some one questions me and asks me about my whereabouts ??

Arnav: Don't worry about that, no one can ever say anything to you they would have to go through me to get to you

Khushi was shocked to hear his answer what did he mean by that they would have to go through him to get to her. Whats going on with him she though to herself

Arnav: (put his hand out and said in a rather sexy husky voice) Chale

Khushi nodded and slowly slid his hand out in his hand and they walked down the stairs and got into the carriage that awaited them outside
