Chapter 10

Shyam huffed into the room in anger and irritation. His plans were flopping and he couldn't bare that. How dare Arnav steal everything from him, His hopes his dreams even the girl he loves. As he crushed his hands into a ball he was so annoyed, things started slipping out of his hands and it was getting uncontrollable he had to put his plan to action. He walked into the adjoining room Lavanaya was folding her clothes. He snatched the clothes out her hands and threw it on the bed and said in an angry voice.

Shyma: Stop wasting your time on these useless things. You should be out there wooing that Arnav. Are you not seeing how he is getting close to Khushiji. (he yelled)

Lavanaya: (scared she said) Bhai please i beg you dont do this its not right. I dont want to marry Arnav please understand that (she begged)

Shyam: (choked her neck tight and said gritting his teeth) Look at you, its like you dont even care, can't you do so much for me i am your brother. I have raised you, and now in return i want you to woo Arnav so i can get the crown. And when i do you will be the princess of this kingdom. Lavanaya dont you want that

Lavnaya: (bent down to his feet and said in a pleading matter) Please Bhai please i beg you this is not what Father would like us to do with our life. He was wise and loyal to the kingdom and thats what i want to do as well what we are doing is not right. Arnav and his family have given us everything and in return i am grateful to them

Shyam picked her up and looked at her as he paused she looked at him with hope and then suddenly she felt a cold hard slap on her cheek. Lavanaya was heart broken and in shock

Shyam: I have had enough of your tantrums understand, you will do as i say and if u do anything apart from that then i will sell you off to the worst possible men ever. I am keeping a watch on you. You will do as i say woo Arnav and marry him. Keep Khushiji away from him as much as you can.

Saying that he took her out of the room, and urged her to go to Arnav who was in his study a helpless Lavanaya did as Shyam told her. Shilleena on the other hand was still waiting to tell Arnav the truth she wanted to go with him with the full truth, and so she started an investigation to find out Shyam and his bad deeds She wanted him to be spared for everything that he had done.

Meanwhile Lavanaya knock outside Arnav's door, He looked up at her and asked her to come in to the room. Shyam stood behind monitoring her every move. Lavanaya took a deep breath and then said

Lavanaya: Your majesty I would like to talk to you about something

Arnav: (kept the book down on his desk and said) Lavanya since when have you been so formal, we are friends remember call me Arnav, Soon you will marry Ak (he was cut of by Lavanaya who was quick to say)

Lavanaya: Arnav, can we go out for dinner today, i would like to talk to you alone

Arnav: (was a bit concerned with Lavanaya and her behavior and so he said) Ok no problem i will tell Khushi i am sure she would love to join us

Lavanaya saw Shyam from the corner of her eye he was angry and was telling her to avoid the matter and so she said

Lavnaya: No Arnav only the two of us.

Arnav nodded getting suspicious Lavanaya has never acted so strange before. Lavanaya gave him a fake smile and walked out of the room. Shyam followed her and they went to a quite spot and then he said

Shyam: Dont screw this up understand, go for dinner and sleep with him if you have to, I will bring Khushiji there and then he will be exposed

Lavanaya: what we are doing is not right (she said in a low voice)

Shyam: (chocked her again and said) Listen i am not asking whats right and whats wrong, just do as i tell you to, leave the rest to me

Lavanya struggled he left her and then he walked off to his room. Lavanaya went off to Shilleena's room to go tell her everything.

As she walked in Shilleena was busy in some work Lavanaya came in and started to cry telling her everything. Shilleena was pissed off they had to execute their  plan fast as they could.

Meanwhile Khushi was in the garden making pots as she spun away shaping the mud into a beautiful vase she hummed a song. The morning had been perfect for her it was delightful for her, Arnavji liked her food he was treating her well and most importantly she was happy with him, She was always happy when he was around and her heart would beat for him. She wished she could tell him that but she knew it was to soon and besides she had doubts he felt the same. She had decided the only way to this problem is to leave it on devi maya. As she spun away Shyam entered into the garden and sat besides her and said in a sugary sweet voice

Shyam: Hello Khushiji i see you are enjoying yourself making these pots

Khushi: (looked up at him and said) Yes i am Arnavji got me these things and i am so glad he did

Shyam: Khushiji there is something that i would like to discuss with you

Khushi stopped the spinning of the wheel washed her hands and looked up at him wondering what he had to say.

Khushi: Tell me Shyamji

Shyam: (smiled at her and then said) Khushiji you remember i had spoken to you about Arnavji not treating yo u so well

Khushi: (rolled her eyes and then said) Oh no not again Shyamji i have told you that Arnavji and i are fine

Shyam: Khushiji your not understand what i am trying to tell you, please listen to me

Khushi: (irritated she said) Listen to what, You go one about the same thing over and over again. I told you i am happy with him, I dont know about my fate in 6 months but i have faith in Arnavji he will not throw me away

Shyam: (Controlling his anger he said ) Khushiji at least listen to me

Khushi: (annoyed she said) Ok tell me

Shyam: Khushiji he is using you i am telling you and this time i can prove to you

Khushi: (curious of how he could prove it he said) How what proof do you have

Shyam: Khushiji you know my sister Lavanaya right

Khushi nodded and then Shyam continued

Shyam: Khushiji they are going out for dinner today and then to the chambers for you know what. He has found a new love in my sister and she loves him too. You are just a use and throw item for him

Khushi: (angry she said) No thats not possible i know it Arnavji didn't tell me anything like this

Shyam: (took her hand and then said) Come with me i will show you.
He then took her to the study he had instructed Lavanaya to be in Arnav's study and keep him occupied in some work. Khushi stood outside his study watching him with Lavanaya she was shocked about it. Lavanaya was close to Arnav almost on top of him. But she saw something else as well and that is the uncomfortable feeling that she was getting from both Arnav and Lavanaya's side. Lavanaya didn't look ok, and as far as she knew that Lavanaya was in love with Akash bhaya so something was really long . Khsuhi sensed it, but having said that she was a bit jealous but jealousy could wait she had to get to the bottom of this. Shyam smirked thinking that his plan is succeeding. Khushi turned around pretending she said

Khushi: Your right Shyamji

Shyam: (gave an evil smirk and then said) See i told you, but dont worry i am with you (he touched her shoulders)

Khushi: (moved his hands in disgust she calmed herself and then said) Dont worry i will manage

Saying that she left from there. Shyam felt proud of his achievements but little did he know he was pulling up a storm. Because Khushi went straight to Akash who was in the field practicing his martial art skills.
