Chapter 10

Shyam huffed into the room in anger and irritation. His plans were flopping and he couldn't bare that. How dare Arnav steal everything from him, His hopes his dreams even the girl he loves. As he crushed his hands into a ball he was so annoyed, things started slipping out of his hands and it was getting uncontrollable he had to put his plan to action. He walked into the adjoining room Lavanaya was folding her clothes. He snatched the clothes out her hands and threw it on the bed and said in an angry voice.

Shyma: Stop wasting your time on these useless things. You should be out there wooing that Arnav. Are you not seeing how he is getting close to Khushiji. (he yelled)

Lavanaya: (scared she said) Bhai please i beg you dont do this its not right. I dont want to marry Arnav please understand that (she begged)

Shyam: (choked her neck tight and said gritting his teeth) Look at you, its like you dont even care, can't you do so much for me i am your brother. I have raised you, and now in return i want you to woo Arnav so i can get the crown. And when i do you will be the princess of this kingdom. Lavanaya dont you want that

Lavnaya: (bent down to his feet and said in a pleading matter) Please Bhai please i beg you this is not what Father would like us to do with our life. He was wise and loyal to the kingdom and thats what i want to do as well what we are doing is not right. Arnav and his family have given us everything and in return i am grateful to them

Shyam picked her up and looked at her as he paused she looked at him with hope and then suddenly she felt a cold hard slap on her cheek. Lavanaya was heart broken and in shock

Shyam: I have had enough of your tantrums understand, you will do as i say and if u do anything apart from that then i will sell you off to the worst possible men ever. I am keeping a watch on you. You will do as i say woo Arnav and marry him. Keep Khushiji away from him as much as you can.

Saying that he took her out of the room, and urged her to go to Arnav who was in his study a helpless Lavanaya did as Shyam told her. Shilleena on the other hand was still waiting to tell Arnav the truth she wanted to go with him with the full truth, and so she started an investigation to find out Shyam and his bad deeds She wanted him to be spared for everything that he had done.

Meanwhile Lavanaya knock outside Arnav's door, He looked up at her and asked her to come in to the room. Shyam stood behind monitoring her every move. Lavanaya took a deep breath and then said

Lavanaya: Your majesty I would like to talk to you about something

Arnav: (kept the book down on his desk and said) Lavanya since when have you been so formal, we are friends remember call me Arnav, Soon you will marry Ak (he was cut of by Lavanaya who was quick to say)

Lavanaya: Arnav, can we go out for dinner today, i would like to talk to you alone

Arnav: (was a bit concerned with Lavanaya and her behavior and so he said) Ok no problem i will tell Khushi i am sure she would love to join us

Lavanaya saw Shyam from the corner of her eye he was angry and was telling her to avoid the matter and so she said

Lavnaya: No Arnav only the two of us.

Arnav nodded getting suspicious Lavanaya has never acted so strange before. Lavanaya gave him a fake smile and walked out of the room. Shyam followed her and they went to a quite spot and then he said

Shyam: Dont screw this up understand, go for dinner and sleep with him if you have to, I will bring Khushiji there and then he will be exposed

Lavanaya: what we are doing is not right (she said in a low voice)

Shyam: (chocked her again and said) Listen i am not asking whats right and whats wrong, just do as i tell you to, leave the rest to me

Lavanya struggled he left her and then he walked off to his room. Lavanaya went off to Shilleena's room to go tell her everything.

As she walked in Shilleena was busy in some work Lavanaya came in and started to cry telling her everything. Shilleena was pissed off they had to execute their  plan fast as they could.

Meanwhile Khushi was in the garden making pots as she spun away shaping the mud into a beautiful vase she hummed a song. The morning had been perfect for her it was delightful for her, Arnavji liked her food he was treating her well and most importantly she was happy with him, She was always happy when he was around and her heart would beat for him. She wished she could tell him that but she knew it was to soon and besides she had doubts he felt the same. She had decided the only way to this problem is to leave it on devi maya. As she spun away Shyam entered into the garden and sat besides her and said in a sugary sweet voice

Shyam: Hello Khushiji i see you are enjoying yourself making these pots

Khushi: (looked up at him and said) Yes i am Arnavji got me these things and i am so glad he did

Shyam: Khushiji there is something that i would like to discuss with you

Khushi stopped the spinning of the wheel washed her hands and looked up at him wondering what he had to say.

Khushi: Tell me Shyamji

Shyam: (smiled at her and then said) Khushiji you remember i had spoken to you about Arnavji not treating yo u so well

Khushi: (rolled her eyes and then said) Oh no not again Shyamji i have told you that Arnavji and i are fine

Shyam: Khushiji your not understand what i am trying to tell you, please listen to me

Khushi: (irritated she said) Listen to what, You go one about the same thing over and over again. I told you i am happy with him, I dont know about my fate in 6 months but i have faith in Arnavji he will not throw me away

Shyam: (Controlling his anger he said ) Khushiji at least listen to me

Khushi: (annoyed she said) Ok tell me

Shyam: Khushiji he is using you i am telling you and this time i can prove to you

Khushi: (curious of how he could prove it he said) How what proof do you have

Shyam: Khushiji you know my sister Lavanaya right

Khushi nodded and then Shyam continued

Shyam: Khushiji they are going out for dinner today and then to the chambers for you know what. He has found a new love in my sister and she loves him too. You are just a use and throw item for him

Khushi: (angry she said) No thats not possible i know it Arnavji didn't tell me anything like this

Shyam: (took her hand and then said) Come with me i will show you.
He then took her to the study he had instructed Lavanaya to be in Arnav's study and keep him occupied in some work. Khushi stood outside his study watching him with Lavanaya she was shocked about it. Lavanaya was close to Arnav almost on top of him. But she saw something else as well and that is the uncomfortable feeling that she was getting from both Arnav and Lavanaya's side. Lavanaya didn't look ok, and as far as she knew that Lavanaya was in love with Akash bhaya so something was really long . Khsuhi sensed it, but having said that she was a bit jealous but jealousy could wait she had to get to the bottom of this. Shyam smirked thinking that his plan is succeeding. Khushi turned around pretending she said

Khushi: Your right Shyamji

Shyam: (gave an evil smirk and then said) See i told you, but dont worry i am with you (he touched her shoulders)

Khushi: (moved his hands in disgust she calmed herself and then said) Dont worry i will manage

Saying that she left from there. Shyam felt proud of his achievements but little did he know he was pulling up a storm. Because Khushi went straight to Akash who was in the field practicing his martial art skills.

Chapter 9

Arnav woke up with the soft sunlight seeping into the window. A smile on his face he turned to the other side, only to find the bed empty. He looked confused where was she, why wasn't she in bed snuggling with him. He looked around the room to find her standing next to the wardrobe. She covered herself with the silk duvet and was looking into the wardrobe for something. He lifted himself to his elbow and said in a sleepy voice.

Arnav: What are you doing

Khushi: (turned around and smiled) I am looking for my robe Arnavji, i can't seem to find it. Yesterday i put it in your wardrobe and now its not here

Arnav: Yeah thats cuz i removed it from my wardrobe (he said raising his eye brows)

Khushi: You removed it why (she asked confused)

Arnav: (smirking he said) Because Khushi your in my chamber why the hell do you need clothes in here.

Khushi blushed and he smirked and then showed his hand out to her. She smiled and held the silk to her chest and with her other hand she carefully slid hers in his and sat on the bed next to him.

Arnav: Why did you get up so early

Khushi: Arnavji i have to get up early because i have to get breakfast organized for every one

Arnav: Hp is there to do that, dont worry come back to bed (he told her)

Khushi: Arnavji you gave me the responsibility to take care of the kitchen its my duty to see what breakfast is cooking (she explains)

Arnav: (thoughtfully he said) Hmm your right it is. But i will let you go on one condition

Khushi: (scrunched her eye brows and said) And whats that

Arnav: You cook breakfast

Khushi: You liked my cooking so much (she blushed and asked him)

Arnav: (nodded, he then pulled her close and took her in his arms, she sat on his lap and then he said) Yeah i did i loved it, you cook really well (he kissed her exposed shoulder)

Khushi: (blushed and said) Thank you Arnavji for the compliment. (she freed herself from his grip and said) I better go to Shilleena and lavanyas room to find out what they like

Arnav: (held her hand and said) No you wont cook for any one else, only cook for me

Khushi: (startled she said) What!! but Arnavji how can

Arnav: Why can't you, I am telling you to, Cook only for me (he smirked)

Khushi: (rolled her eyes she said) Ok Arnavji your the king i can't argue with you. What would you like ur chef to cook today for you

Arnav: (chuckled) Hmm cook me your favorite dish i want to eat what you like

Khushi: But why, your taste is all bitter and mine is so sweet

Arnav: (raising his eye brow he flirted with her) What are you trying to imply that when i kiss you i taste bitter and you taste sweet.

Khushi: (blushed and then said) No not that

Arnav: Then what

Khushi: Arnavji its just you prefer bitter things and i like sweet things

Arnav: Khushi I tried sweet things from you and trust me they taste good (he smirked) So go and cook what ever it is you like i would love to try it.

Khushi: (blushed and then said) Ok Arnavji (now let me go)

Arnav: (smirked and left her hand) Ok go and remember i am looking forward to try what you are going to make for me.

Khushi ran from the room excited that Arnav wanted to try her dish. She had the most biggest smile on her face and she was jumping. As she entered the kitchen she met Hp

Hp: Mam what would you like us to prepare

Khushi: Nothing Hpji i will cook again today

Saying that she removed the kadhai and filled in oil. Got the baisan and then beag naming the batter. The cooks got onto making everyone else breakfast. While Khushi was cooking Shyam who happened to be around the area. Came in and said

Shyam: Something smells nice

Khushi: yes i am cooking

Shyam:Nice Khushiji, yesterday you met my sister Lavanya she was parsing your food, i would love to try some

Khushi: Sure shyamji but not today, Today i am busy making jalebies for Arnavji and i promised him that i would cook only for him.

Shyam: (boiled with anger but didn't show it) Khushiji you should be careful about him, he is using you

Khsuhi: (not paying attention to him she continued to cook she said) Dont worry Shyamji I know who he is and who he isnt. (pausing she said) but there is something i would like to ask you

Shyam: (smiling he said) yes khushiji tell me

Khushi: (leaving the spoon she said, folding her hand to her chest) Do you have a problem with Arnavji

Shyam: No Khushiji i am just worried for you (he said covering up) I mean look Prince Arnav will find another girl and then he will throw you off i know it

Khushi: Shyamji dont worry i know how to handle my Arnavji I dont need advice from you at all thank you for your concern but I dont need it

Shyam was pretty shocked with the way she reacted he stayed quite and Khushi arranged the jalebies on the plate and then headed towards the dinning table where Arnav was seated. She had the biggest smile on her face. Shyam just stood their his hands fisted into a big ball of anger he took a deep breath shut his eyes unable to understand what just happened did she just call the Arnav hers. How could she he thought it was time to pester Lavanya to create a wedge between them. He walked out of there and headed towards Lavanaya's room.

Meanwhile Arnav and Akash were on the dinning table discussing something Khushi came out of the kitchen with a hot plate in her hand. She came and placed the plate in front of Arnav with the biggest smile on her face she said

Khushi: Arnavji you can discuss all this later first have your breakfast

Arnav: (smirked and said in a teasing matter) Oh come on Khushi you only said that i should not neglect my princely duties (remembering how she pushed him to work early that day)

Khushi: (blushed but then was quick to say) But Arnavji breakfast is the most important meal you should have it otherwise how will you get energy.

While the two were squabbling Akash who was standing on the side said

Akash: Ok i am leaving you 2 love birds alone. Please continue your squabble i will talk 2 later Arnav (Saying that he left)

Arnav rolled his eyes and then Khushi smiled and said

Khushi: Arnavji i made Jalebies for you (SHe said sitting next to you)

Arnav smiled and then took a bite of it, it was so yum he shut his eyes and relished it Khushi waited for his answer. As he opened his eyes he saw her face she looked anxious. He saw a bit of the batter on her cheek. A naughty smirk came to his face and he took his finger and removed some of the batter from her cheek and then licked it.

Khushi looked at him all confused and then touched her cheeks to find the batter on it. She took the napkin and wiped it off and then said

Khushi: Arnavji tell me know what do you think. I hoped you liked it

Arnav: (chuckled and then said) I am still deciding what tastes better the jalebi or the batter on your cheek

Khushi: (blushed and then slapped him on his shoulder and said) Seriously Arnavji tell me do you like it. I know its not your taste you dont like sweets (she said sadly)

Arnav: (cupped her face and then said) Khushi i thinks its delicious, I love it. So your favorite dish is jalebies

Khushi: (smiled and said excited) Yes it is. I love Jalebies they make me happy you know when i am sad i make jalebies to take my mind off things

Arnav rolled his eyes at her cuteness and then she held onto his arm and said

Khushi: I am so happy you like them Arnavji i was worried you wont like them.

Arnav: I love everything you cook Khushi. Thats wy i gave you the kitchen as your responsibility.

Khushi smiled and kissed Arnav as they both started to munch on the jalebies.  

Chapter 8

Khushi was so excited she had finally found a solution to not get bored. Arnav got her the potters wheel and she was now in charge of the kitchen. SHe went into the huge kitchen to find all the cooks waiting for her instructions. There were huge pots and pans with all the vegetables in the world. A whole shelf of spice and different ingredients. Khushi was amazed with the amount of stuff that the kitchen had. One of the cooks came on and said

HP: Madam what would you like us to cook for today

Khushi: (gearing up she said) Nothing. Today i will cook

Hp: Are you sure mam

Khushi: Yes for sure. Can you help me and tell me what Arnavji likes

HP: Mam Sire likes a loo puri and Shilleena madam likes Aloo paratha

Khushi: great i will get started.

She smiled as she got on to cooking their favorite dishes. She fired the puris in oil and put the final touches on the aloo ka sabji. When she heard Shilleena come down with Lavanaya

Shilleena: MMm Something smells nice

Khushi smiled and then said: I hope so i cooked today

Shilleena: Nice i am excited. ( she then turned to her and said) Khushi this is Lavanaya she is Shyams sister

Khushi: (smiled) Hi Lavanaya

Lavanaya: (smiled back sweetly) Hi khushi i heard all good things about you, so nice to finally meet you

Khushi beamed and then Shilleena said

Shilleena: SO even she and Akash are joining us today for dinner i hope you made extra

Khushi: Yes off course i have, it would be nice

Shilleena: I know especially for Lavanaya finally you will meet Akash (she teased her)

Lavanya blushed and then Khushi said

Khushi: You and Akash bhai are together

Lavanya nodded and then said: Yes we have been together since we were 10 years old but no one knows.

Khushi: (smiled and then said) Not even Arnavji

Shilleena: well he knows but pretends not to, so typical of bhai

They were talking in the kitchen when they heard Hp call out to serve the dinner. Shilleena and Lavanay went and sat down in their respective places and Khushi brought the food. Her heart started to beat faster and faster as she served the food she was nervous that he wont like it.

He sat on the table and she stood beside him. He smiled at her and said sweetly

Arnav: come sit next to me

Khushi: sat on the chair next to him.

The rest of the people took their places and then Hp served the food. Khushi chanted her devi maya's over a 1000 times out of nervousness. Arnav broke a piece of the puri and clubbed it with the aloo. And slowly popped it into his mouth. Khushi's hands were clasped she was nervous Shilleena and Lavanaya could tell. As soon as he took the bite he had no expressions on his face. SHe was terrified he would've hated. Then he turned to her and said

Arnav: (smirked at her and said) You made this

She nodded silently with a pout. He found it adorable and then he said with a genuine smile

Arnav: Wow khushi your such a good cook

Khushi beamed for the sky she was blushing her heart became light and she was so happy she gave him the most beautiful smile and thanked him for the compliment Shileena then said

Shilleena: Khushi you can breath now (she chuckled and so did every one else)

Akash: (taking a helping of food he said) But this is really good khushi, (he turned to Arnav and then said) Arnav my boy you did a wise job by handing that kitchen to Khushi she cooks so well (he licked his fingers)

They all ate dinner peacefully enjoying each others company and having a good time amongst each other. it was late night now Khushi was just cleaning up as she dusted the kitchen Arnav instructed the servants to leave. He slowly came behind her and held her by the waist and buried his head in her shoulder. She smiled and then he said

Arnav: Hmm come to bed

Khushi: I can't i have to clean up

Arnav: Khushi you live in a palace with servants at your beck and call let them do it

Khushi: i wish could but i wont because all these are your servants not mine and besides i like cleaning up.

Arnav: (rolling his eyes he said irritated) You are so weird (saying that he left her and went up)

She folded the rug she knew he was annoyed at her. She felt bad he had done so much for her and she didn't listen to him. She was suppose to listen to him as per their deal. But more than that he had done so much for her, She instructed Hp to do the rest, and quietly climbed up the stairs and entered his room. The lights were shut.

Khushi: Arnavji are you there

There was no answer. There was only loneliness and silence. She was scared of the dark. She came towards the bed to find it empty. She again said

Khushi: Arnavji i am sorry please come out, i didn't want to upset you

Still no response. She was now restless and her heart started to beat faster and faster. She was scared. She began to cry. until she bumped into some one with a broad chest. She touched his chest and stopped at his heart. Arnav looked down at her she was terrified. On realizing it was Arnav, She caught hold of him tightly and hugged him, dropping her head on his chest she stuck to him and cried

Khushi: I am sorry i made you upset i will never do it again i promise you please dont be angry (she cried while sniffing)

He didn't react he just stood still, her tears went against his heart and it started to make a whole in his heart. he took a deep breath and put an arm around her, taking her in his warmth he said

Arnav: Shh relax, its ok

Khushi: (crying she said) No its not ok, i am bad you did so much for me and i dint listen to you

Arnav: Khush calm down its fine, your here now and i am ok

Khushi: (lifting her head from his chest she asked in a cute voice) U aren't upset

Arnav: not any more

Khushi breathed a sigh of relief, he shifted her hair and tucked it behind her ears. She came up from his chest and looked at him. He lit the candles so light would come in and then Khushi laid on the bed. He removed his shirt and came on top of her and began kissing her. He took her in his mouth and she moaned in full passion. The heat increased when he bit her soft lips and a bit of blood came out. He was quick to sooth it with his soft touch. Chapter 7

The morning light broke upon the blue sky, spreading its light rays into the small shack that Arnav and Khushi were sleeping in. Khushi snuggled closer to the soft warm body that she lay next to. The light was troubling her and she didnt want to get up. Arnav on the other hand was asleep but woke up when he felt movement from Khushi. Khushi: (with eyes shut said)  Hmm

Arnav chuckled and the manage to pull the curtains with his hand. They stayed in bed for a while cuddling and snuggling with each other until Khushi had a though she got up in a hurry from his chest and looked at him with shock and surprising Arnav

Arnav: What the !! (he said) Khushi why did u get up

Khushi: Arnavji its morning (she said shocked)

Arnav: (sarcastically he said) No way Khushi i thought it was only night

Khushi: (rolled her eyes and said) You will be late

Arnav: (confused) For what

Khushi: Arnavji come on get up your suppose to go and take care of your princely duty

Arnav: (giggled and asked) What

Khushi: (pulling him up he sat on the bed and then she said) Come on i wont have you slack around with your work (she said in a strict voice)

Arnav: (Arnav found her so cute but he wanted to mess with her and so he raised his eye brows and said) Really so now i have to take orders from you is it. Have you forgotten who i am

Khushi: (got scared seeing him, but then was quick to say) No i havent your the prince and i am your friend so dont i have any right on you (she asked innocently)

Arnav: (melted he was not able to hold his fake anger any more and he broke into a smile and said) Your good you know that

Khushi: (chuckled and said) Bachpan say

Then she got off the bed and pulled him out and sent him in for a bath while she straightened the room up.

Once they were ready He kissed her on her cheek and she said

Khushi: (with a smile) Have a nice day

Arnav: (smiled back) hmm u 2

Saying that he left to check on the kingdom and Khushi went to do her daily chores of the day.

It was around 4 in the afternon Khushi was sitting in the gardens eating a nice bowl of fruits and watching the beautiful horizon spread across the mountains. She was interrupted by Shyam  who was passing by when he saw the beauty of the swings. He came up to her and said

Shyam: Hello Khushiji how are you

Khushi: (smiled she didnt like him much but she tried to be nice and said) hello Shyamji

Shyam: Khushiji whats wrong why are you alone here

Khushi: nothing i like to come and sit here its peaceful

Shyam: Oh ok (he paused and then said) Khushi ji

khushi: Hmm

Shyam: I am sorry with the way the prince is treating you

Khushi: (asked raising her eye brows) How do you know how he is treating me and why are u sorry

Shyam: I have seen him use you and shout at you i know he sleeps with you and after some time he will throw you

Khushi: (folding her hands she said) I think you have it all wrong shyamji because Arnavji and i are fine and he treats me well i know what he is and what he isnt.

Shyam : Ok Khushiji (he put his hand on her shoulders and then said) But always remember i am here for you.

Khushi: (felt disgusted with his touch and moved his hand and then said) dont worry Shyamji i will be fine

Shilleena who was seeing this from far came in and said

Shilleena: Shyam i dont think you need to worry about Khushi Bhai will take good care of her, even after the 6 months she will be fine, I know Bhai he will always take care of Khushi you dont need to worry about it we all are there for her (she indicated to shyam)

Shyam: Your Majesty i dint mean it like that. All i meant was that.. (He tried to take care of the situation but Shilleena said)

Shileena: I know exactly what you meant (She paused and then said) I heard that in the village meeting you supported the dowry

Shyam: Your majesty i only did it because i thought it was right i mean its such an old tradition

Khushi: But its a wrong tradition its not right (she was quick to say, turing to Shilleena she said) Its a good thing Arnavji didn't accept the dowry and banned it (she smiled)

Shyam: i understand Khushiji i think your right

Shileena: (she knew Khushi was getting hassled with him and so she said) Shyam how come your chit chatting about her aren't you suppose to be working. (turing to Khushi she said) Come Khushi i will show you the Palace Sea side its beautiful

Khushi: I saw it Shilleena Arnavji took me there yesterday (she smiled)

Shileena: Thats great i am sure you must have loved it, come let us spend some time there

Shilleena smiled too and then both the girls went in laughing and giggling. Shyam stood there angry and irritated seeing Khushi defend him, From a far off distance Shilleena stood witnessing the whole thing she was happy to see Khushi defend her brother but at the same time upset and angry with the way Shyam is behaving she needed to put her plan in action.

They were sitting near the seashore and relaxing and laughing away both the girls seemed to get along well. Khushi found a good friend in Shilleena and Shilleena on the other hand got more and more confident that she was the one for her brother. Her visions had showed her a found girl who would change his life and Shilleena was sure that Khushi was the one.

Arnav was in the study looking at his globe. As it spanned faster he stopped it immediately and pointed to a place. Akash stood besides him and said

Akash: Are we going to conquer that city

Arnav: i am thinking off it. This city has a good intake of spices and in our land we dont have a good amount of spices so we can benefit from here also the land rich in crops and craftsmanship

Akash: yeah true that but you know its owned by a Queen a single queen

Arnav: which makes it more easier for me i will offer her protection and in return for her land she can still manage the place

Akash: you know she wont agree until she gets a marriage proposal i herd she is single and is looking for a husband What say Arnav (he teased him)

Arnav: (rolled his eyes and then said) Very funny but you know i can't

Akash: (nudged him and said) Dont Lie its not that you cant its that you wont and i know why you wont. (smirking he said) Isn't it because of that girl

Arnav: Shut up

Akash was about to retaliate when they heard a knock on the door both looked towards the door and saw Khushi Arnav was glad to see her and Akash couldn't find a better reason to tease Arnav

Akash: Hi Khushi

Khushi: (smiled and said) Hi Akash Bhaya can i please come in

Akash nodded she came in she looked a bit upset her hands all twiddling she

Arnav: (took her hand in his and then said) Whats wrong

Khushi: (Came out of her trance and then said) Ha uh nothing

Arnav: Khushi tell me whats wrong.

Khushi: (paused and said) Its just that... (she paused again and then said) I get bored doing nothing the whole day. Your so busy with your work and Shilleena is out with her friends, I have nothing to do

Arnav: What is it that you want to do.

Khushi: Anything what ever i just want to do something i get so bored you know i am tired of just sitting around and eating i will become fat (she complained)

Arnav: (admired her finding her adorable, he held her buy the waist not caring that Akash is there he said) What do you enjoy doing

Khushi: Well when i was not here i would spend my days making pots and selling them, I would teach the local kids after school, I would make sweets jalebies hmmm (She shut her eyes remembering its sweet taste)

Arnav: (chuckled at her she was truly cute he took a deep breath and said) Ok i tell you what from now on its your responsibility to handle the kitchen ok you will take care of all the meals that we eat. I will also get you your potters wheel from the village so that you can make your pots i hope thats fine

Khushi: (hugged him tight and gave him a kiss on his cheek and said) That would be great thanks Arnavji your the best

Saying that she went off to gig Shilleena the good news. Leaving a stunned Arnav behind Akash tapped him and brought him out of his trance and then said

Akash: My boy your in love, is main koi shakk nahi

Arnav: (rolled his eyes and said) No i am not, (he tried to cover up and then said) We shouldn't be talking about all this dont we have a kingdom  2 expand (he raised his eye brows)

Akash: (rolling his eyes he said) Deny as much as you want it wont change. (then quickly changed the topic and said) Ok lets get back to work i can teas you later
Arnav rolled his eyes, Now usually he would get annoyed if someone teased him but Akash was like a brother to him they grew up together so he didn't mind and As for Khushi he just simply adored her he never knew if it was love because even if he loved her he was scared that she may not love him. He wanted to enjoy it till it lasts and when the six months got over he would ask her if she would like to stay or move on.


  

Chapter 6

He picked her up in his strong muscular arms and she snaked her arms around his broad shoulders. Khushi looked into Arnav's eyes and he looked into hers. The eye lock spoke a 1000 words of love and want for each other. Khushi smiled at him sweetly and he showed off his cute smirk. There was silence between the two, only the noise of the waves could be heard. Arnav walked to the near by shack which was on the beach as he gently laid her down on the bed. She starred at him, he unbuttoned his shirt and removed it. His 6 pack toned chest was visible. For the first time Khushi saw him and actually noticed him. She was amazed by his toned tanned chest which looked mighty strong. Arnav lay on top of her. She shut her eyes, Khushi was such a cute little vixen she knew just how to turn him on. He slowly made his way to her neck and began kissing it leaving soft kisses on her slender long. He was very gentle with her today a warmth going within him he felt nice. Khushi: What are you doing Arnavji (she asked confused)

Arnav: (in a husky voice) Spread your legs

Arnav: Dont worry just do it i know what i am doing (he said)

Khushi: (hesitated she dint want him to touch her there because of the pain and so she said) Arnavji please

He said and started to spread her legs, removing the haldi cream from the box with his fingers he slowly started to rub her thigh in a circular motion. Arnav's eyes widened on hearing her and he looked up to see her eyes closed body arched and a lost look on her face. A smirk appeared on her lips and he continued to pleasure her with his hands moving slow and fast up and down he explored her softness. Khushi moaned and moaned

Arnav: (pretending) What the hell was that 

khushi: (started to cry she sobbed and spoke) I dont know sorry i usually never feel like this please forgive me Arnavji 

Arnav made a face and then Khushi said in a soft voice

Khushi: Your majesty 

Arnav looked angry Khushi was crying and crying and unable to control his laughter he left out a chuckle and Khushi looked at him with big eyes and said 

Khushi: What the 

Arnav: (smirked ad tapped her lightly) Hey thats my line 

Khushi: But you just (she pointed at him and then said) And you were so angry, (she babbled and then said)

Whats going on 

Arnav: (smirked naughtily and said) What do you think only ur the one who can joke and laugh and make fun. i just canned you Khushi. (he said proudly)

Realizing she hit him playfully on the chest and Arnav couldnt stop giggling away, khushi blushed furiously and then he said 

Arnav: ok enought now i think its better we sleep it looks quite late

Saying that he came back down on the bed and took her along with him. Before Khushi could roll to her side he pulled her close taking her in his arms and making her rest on his chest. 

Arnav: But Khushi i'll tell you a secrete (he said softly)

Khushi: Yeah 

Arnav: I thought it was cute i loved it (he admitted)

Khushi blushed furiously and hid herself in the crook on his neck. Arnav tightened his arm aroun her. Both felt good and nice. Tonight marked the beginning of their friendship and the first step towards their unknown love they had for each other. 

Meanwhile on the other side of the palace was a man who walked up and down frustrated and furious with what happened today as he looked into the mirror he spoke in an angry voice

Shyam: I will have Khushi and the kingdom as mine make no mistake of that Arnav (he growled and promised himself)

Chapter 5 Part 2

As they walked out of the village place. Arnav took a deep breath Khushi looked at him all shocked not knowing what to say to him. Akash and Shyam followed him out and then Akash said

Akash: Arnav what the hell was that (he asked stunned)

Arnav: No one talks bad about her (he held her hand tight and said protectively)

Akash: (chuckled) OMg Shillee was right. (he looked at khushi and then said with a smile) Hi i am Akash by the way. I am the general of the army and Arnav's close friend

Khushi smiled at greeted him Shyam was confused and Arnav rolled his eyes and then said

Arnav: Ok enough, I am taking her to the market to shop i will meet you back at the place

Akash nodded and then Shyam said

Shyam: Your majesty as your advisor  I feel right now is not a good time for you to go into the market after so much happening its not safe

Arnav: nonosense i am not scared of any one we are going,

Akash: yeah take two armed guards with you incase you know (he said thoughtfully)

Arnav nodded and they left.

As they entered the market things seemed normal the guards followed them around. They walked through the streets passing all the shops. For Khushi this day was just so twisted the only thing that ran through her mind was what is wrong with Arnav and why he is behaving so strange all of a sudden. Arnav on the other hand wanted to make Khushi feel like she is not just rubbish but means alot to him, thats why he took her opinion in the meeting because he wanted to see what she felt and what kind of person she was. As they passed many shops nothing caught her eye until she saw a big cart which was filled with all kinds of colored bangles. Glass ones beaded ones and even glittery ones. She left Arnav's hand and went over to the cart. Arnav followed a smile came on Khushi's face and she exclaimed forgetting her tension

Khushi: Wow bangles (her lips pursed into a )

Arnav: (smiled to seeing her smile it made him forget his trouble looking on he said) Your fond of bangles

Khushi: I love them they are so colorful

Arnav smirked as Khushi picked up the beautiful royal blue bangles in front of her and said

Khushi: Bhayaji yeah kitne ka hain

Bhaya: yeah 10 rupya ka hain

Khushi: Arrey aise kaise thick thick bato, these are too expensive

Bhaya: No they aren't madam the market price is this

Khushi was arguing when Arnav looked at her and then said

Arnav: Its only 10 rupees whats the big deal (he rolled his eyes)

Khsuhi: (opened her mouth wide and said) Arnavji 10 rupees is a lot

Arnav: Calm down ok (he looked at the shop keeper and said) how much for your whole cart

Shop keeper: Your majesty (he said shocked)

Arnav: I want to buy your whole cart so much

Khushi: (blurted out in a hurry) WHat the !! (in shock)

This make Arnav raise his eye brow and smirk at her cuteness the shop keeper said

Shop keeper: Sir around 1000 rupees

Arnav removed his wallet and removed the money and handed it to him and then said

Arnav: pack them up and if you get any more designs come to the palace and show them if they are good we will buy them

The shop keeper nodded with happiness of his face. Arnav held Khushi's hand and took her ahead. She left his hand and walked silently. They headed towards the carriage and came back to the palace. throughout there was silence. They took another route and came into the palace from another entrance Khushi didn't bother to ask she was finding this day more and more weird.

The horses lead them towards the beach. Arnav escorted Khushi towards the soft sandy area. Where in the middle of was a table and 2 chairs and a candle lit in the middle. He smirked and asked

Arnav: i hope you hungry its time for dinner

Khushi just nodded. He sat her down and then sat opposite to her. The servers began serving and there was total silence. Arnav broke it by saying

Arnav: so i hope you enjoyed today

Khushi: Why are you doing this (she finally asked)

Arnav: (raised his eye brows and said) doing what khushi

Khsuhi: this ok, (she gestured with hand actions) first i thought this would just be one of your tricks when you asked me to spend time with you and all. But when we left and in the village the way you asked me for my choice i couldn't believe it and you counted my suggestion too.

Arnav: i just wanted to know what you though whats the big deal

Khushi: (started shouting) The BIG DEAL !! the big team is that you actually walked what i said since when did u do that and how come you took the boy and girls side its not like you to do such things

Arnav: Khushi i only did what any good king would do (he smirked and then said) what you spoke was right so thats why i agreed to you

Khushi: (paused and then said)Ok and whats was with the whole bangle thing why did you buy his whole cart

Arnav: (stuttered here he didn't want to let out everything so quick and so he said) Uh.. UH.. Khushi look its not big deal relax. all the bangles are not for you

Khushi: (confused said) I don't follow

Arnav: well some are for Shilly she likes bangles 2 so relax, you choose the ones you like and she will choose the rest (he covered up, Khushi kept quite, and then he asked) is there anything else you want to ask or question me about

Khushi nodded and looked down and ate her food silently not knowing what to tell him. Arnav smirked her cute little nose turned red. After dinner they walked on the beach hand in hand and then Khushi said

Khushi: there is one thing would want to ask you

Arnav: and whats that

Khsuhi: why are you so nice to me today ??

Arnav: (rolled his eyes and said) not again Khushi

KHushi: no Arnavji please tell me whats going on ??

Arnav: (took a deep breath and then said) I just want to get to know you ok, thats all. come on Khushi can't we get along (he asked)

Khushi: (looked at him he seemed genuine and her heart told her and so she smiled at him and said) Ok i guess your right we can try to get along. (she smirked and said) by the way your not so bad you know, i had fun today

Arnav: (raised his eye brows and then said) Excuse me,

Khushi: (shrugged) What, when you asked me to join you on this outing i thought we would land up puling each others hair in the end, but we didn't (she looped her arm around his, snuggled closer and then said) But it kinda feels nice i mean walking by the sea like this

Arnav: (rolled his eyes and then said) Don't under estimate me. (he warned her)

As the wind blew in the salt sea foam washed across the sandy surface, It was nice and romantic the two unknown lovers walked and talked and Khushi seemed to open up to him quick. then she said

Khushi: Arnavji there is one more thing

Arnav: now what

Khushi: well now what happens after this i mean what kind of relation do we have (she paused and then said) Are you still going to court me

Arnav: (knew this was coming he said with a smirk) Well khushi after today i guess we can think of our relationship as friends.

Khushi smiled at him it felt nice to be his friend. Then Arnav said

Arnav: but your punishment is still pending so your not off the hook (he raised his eye brows at her)

Khushi: (confused and worried said) But i don't understand

Arnav: well khushi we are friends but friends with benefits. I will still court you

Khushi just nodded and agreed she seemed fine with this arrangement, it seemed this softness from Arnav was making her feel nice. They stop at the end of the sea line and then Arnav said in a husky voice

Arnav: I am sealing our deal

In a swift second he pulled her into a passionate kiss, Khushi's heart started to beat faster and faster, as she responded to his lips with the same amount of passion and fire. Arnav loved it he pierced his tongue into hers and she twirled hers with his. It felt great for both of them. Even though she didn't understand the concept of friends with benefits so well, she still was open to it. She had developed a liking towards him, a feeling of love and protection,. She felt safe with him. As they broke the kiss they breathed heavily and then Arnav picked her up in his arms and took her into the near by room.

Chapter 5 Part 1

It was an open Carriage Arnav and Khushi sat inside. Khushi shifted to the side keeping a distance from him. Arnav noticed, he didn't like it one bit. Taking a deep breath he said

Arnav: Are you ready to leave

Khushi nodded and they started their journey. The horses galloped along the rocky road and they kept going up and down. Khushi not being use to this she kept coming closer to Arnav indirectly and within a few seconds she landed up an inch away from him. Arnav felt her close he looked towards the side to find her sitting almost on him. She became conscious and started to distance but he didn't let her. He stretched his arms put one around her waist and in a jiffy he pulled her close towards him. She widened her eyes at him move and looked at him. He looked straight and had a wide smirk on his face. Khushi nodded her head side ways and said

Khushi: why did u do that

Arnav: so you could sit properly

Khushi: i was doing fine

Arnav: (raising his eye brows he said) i could see that

Khushi rolled her eyes in frustration and simply looked forward finding it meaningless to argue with him. She was use to his touch any way. But in her mind she had cursed him a lot almost 220 times calling him things like Khadoos, Screw Boy and her personal favorite Laad Govenor.

They were quite through out the ride and when they reached the city Khushi started to become uncomfortable as they reached the market place. She was familiar with the people and was worried about what they would talk about when they saw her. She didn't want to be a joke when she finished the 6 months with Arnav. Arnav realized her uneasiness as she flinched in his arms he stopped her and said in a sweet voice

Arnav: don't worry i am here (he blinked her eyes giving her assurance of it)

Khushi nodded just that one line made her feel better and safe. She didn't know why but it did. Sitting quietly she looked forth and they entered. As they rode through the streets all the people were excited to see Arnav there. They cheered in full volume but seeing Khushi lots of woman started with their gossiping whispering in each others ears Khushi saw it and felt bad she didn't show it though but she felt irritated with them.

As the carriage stopped a foot man came and opened the door. Arnav got out first and let out a hand for khushi who delicately placed her hand in his and came out. He looped her arm around his and held it protectively and they progressed into the market. To armed guards followed them as they went. Arnav said

Arnav: i am expected to attend a village meeting now. Its going to be boring but if you want you can take one of the guards and get into the market for some shopping if you like (he suggested)

Khushi: (looking at all the people staring at her, she felt safe with him and so she softly said) If you don't mind can i come with you. I don't want to be left alone because they are starring at me i don't know what to answer

Arnav: (looked at her innocence and said) Yeah sure

Khushi was actually shocked with how he agreed, She was happy he said yes but wondered why today he was so sweet. Something was very wrong with him she thought. But secretly in her heart she liked this Arnav

Arnav escorted her to the village meeting place. There were tow chairs under the big Oak tree and the entire village was gathered around it. On the left side she found Shyam standing there and on the right she found this young man who was dressed in amour he looked handsome and kind. As Arnav walked in with Khushi hand in hand the village folk were curious and astonished to see her with him. Akash on the other hand winked at Arnav playfully and he had a smirk on his face. Arnav rolled his eyes this didn't go unnoticed by Khushi who knew that something is cooking between them. Shyam on the other hand boiled to death seeing her in his arms. The village Panchayat meeting started Arnav and Khushi sat side by side and then Arnav said

Arnav: Mishraji what seems to be the trouble

2 old men dressed in kurta's came in. As they began telling the story

Mishraji:  Huzoor  the thing is that Sharma's daughter is getting married to my son. but in return they are not able to give the lump of dowry that we demand for. So we want to brake the marriage.

Sharma: Huzoor we don't have more money i have given them everything. my land my cows i no more to give. Huzoor my daughter loves Kartick a lot she will die if they don't marry (He folded his hands and pleaded in front of Arnav.)

Khushi who was watching the whole scene was not happy with what just happened. A lonesome tear fell from her eyes and she began sniffing trying to control it. Arnav heard her sniffs and saw her he could make out she was crying and he knew why. So he asked her

Arnav: Khushi you ok

Khushi: Yeah (she nodded not wanting to let him know)

Arnav looked forward and then began the questioning

Arnav: How much was the sum of money that you asked for

Mishraji: Huzoor 2 lakhs

Arnav: how much are you able to give out of that Sharma

Sharma: 1.5 lakhs

Shyam: Your majesty if i may interject, i think that Sharma should either pay the money or break the marriage. Mishraji is only demanding what he deserves

Akash: Arnav.. (he took a pause and then said) Your majesty i think this is not right i feel something is wrong her

Arnav: (took a pause and then turned to Khushi and said) What do you think is the solution to this problem

Khushi: (looked shocked at him and then said) Are you really asking me

Arnav: (satiating the fact) Yes i am

Akash was standing by Arnav's side and controlling his laughter on Khushi's reaction

Khushi: (softly spoke and said) Its wrong its not right, Dowary is a sin. I don't think there should be any demand of money in return for marriage what so ever because marriage is a sacred bond not a deal. (she said)

Arnav: Call the boy and girl who are going to get married i want to talk to them

Mishra called his son and Shrama called his daughter the young couple looked at each other and then Arnav both were scared to death Arnav asked

Arnav: Do you love this boy with all your heart (he looked at the girl with seriousness)

The girl looked up and nodded her tears of sadness were evident in her eyes. He then looked at the boy and asked

Arnav: Do you love this girl and promise to protect her in the given circumstance

Boy: (every one looked at the boy, He looked up and saw all the expected faces of his dad, his future in laws the girl and Arnav, he took a breath and said) Yes i will, Your majesty

There was a loud ghasp in the air People were shocked that the boy is going against his father and standing up for the girl and her family, The boy came towards the girl who had tears in her eyes and held her hand and then said

Boy: Your majesty, Father and all the respected people of the village i know i am going against my fathers wishes but i love this girl and she is my life. I want to marry her and i don't want even a penny in return for it. (he walked to his father and then said) I am marrying her out of love not for the money

Arnav: (calmly said) Fine then its settled, This boy will marry this girl and in return there will be no dowry given not even a penny. This is my final decision

Every one was shocked Khushi had a smile on her face with the way Arnav dealt with the situation, The crowed started talking away when Shyam came and said

Shyam: Your majesty he is just a boy he doesn't know what he is talking about how can we not have the dowry system its been there for years no one has married with out dowry

Arnav: Then it is time things change Shyam (he said flatly and then, he looked at the village and said) From now on when it comes to matters of marriage there will be no dowry involved. I want to ban the dowry system from this state. (Arnav made himself clear)

Both the girl and the boy came to Arnav as they bent down and thanked him. The boy said

Boy: Thank you your majesty

Arnav: no its ok, just promise to keep her happy always

Boy: i will always keep her happy

On seeing this Khushi's smile increased seems her laad governor was not so beastly after all he did have a heart there some where.

The meeting ended and Arnav and Khushi got up to leave, but were stopped by Mishra who was angry as ever, HE knew this was Khushi's fault and so he said

Mishraji: Aren't you the same girl who fell into the princes arms looks like you have spun a web around him (he taunted Khushi)

Arnav: (started to boil wit anger which raised every second, he went to mishra with anger all over his face, held his collar and said) Don't you dare saying thing about her

Mishra was surprised by Arnav's reaction so was every one els and Khushi's eyes wide she didn't know what to say. Mishra took a deep breath and then said

Mishra: Your majesty this gig lis a cheat she is an orfan and she stays near the river bank, SHe will ruin your life

Arnav: (held on harder and then said) I know what she is (with that Arnav began punching him on the face Akash came to stop him but he would stop the crowed was going wild)

Khushi was also trying to stop him. She yelled out

Khushi: Arnavji stop please (she held his hand, with a tear in her eye)

Arnav looked back unable to see her sad he stopped threw Mishra on the floor and went to her and wiped her tears and then said

Arnav: Shh its ok

There was silence people were shocked and then Arnav said

Arnav: Dare any one say a word against her. This woman is just more than a local girl understand that well. I don't owe any one an explanation of what she is to me. But until she is with me no one and i repeat no one can treat her badly. And if any one dares to then it the dungeons for them for the rest of their life

Saying that he held  a shocked Khushi's hand and took her out of that place. Akash and Shyam followed them out and the crowd just stood their stunned

Chapter 4

He looked out of his tower window towards the garden his yes firmly on the figure who was resting on the swing. Shyam watched Khushi and observed her features seeing every inch of her eying her. He had made up his mind that one day when he became king would make her his bride and make her queen. His thoughts diverted to Arnav and how he was  going to get rid of him. The thought of him being king was irritating him and what added on was Arnav's courting activities with khushi. He couldn't stand to see her with Arnav. Some thing had to be done and it had to be done fast.

At the same point of time Arnav also was standing at the balcony looking down at her. She was so beautiful her sweet innocent eyes, her cute little nose and those plump red lips. Arnav heart beat raised as he admired her from the distance. What was it about this girl that drove him so crazy. He remembered Shilleena's words, when she told him that he should not only use her for sex but should try to get to know her. After all he did want to he knew it in his heart that he wanted to keep her here his whole life he wanted her there by his side for eternity. She was the one. He took a deep breath and looked over her again she looked sad and depressed. When she was around people she would show she was happy but alone by herself she would sit for hours gazing at the horizon. Arnav mentally cursed himself for her state he wanted to see that smile that happiness that fire in her, the same fire he had witnessed when they kissed each other. He had seen that fire in her eyes, the warmth of her skin and the response from her lips, he wanted more. He knew he just didn't want her for meaningless sex. He wanted much more he wanted her love her passion and her desire. Closing his fist into a ball he was unable to see her in this state and made a decision

Shyam on the other hand took a breath, he turned around to find his younger sister sitting on the bed and counting some flowers she had collected. Lavanya looked up with a smile on her face and said

Lavanya: Bhaya doesn't this look beautiful

Shyam: (rolled his eyes he said) What is wrong with you, You should not be here counting flowers. Go get to work

Lavanaya: Bhai but.. (she looked scared)

Shyam: no buts just go get to work, web Arnav around your love so he can't see anything beyond that, sleep with him if u have to but go do it, its the only way we can get the kingdom

Lavanaya: Bhai please i don't want to please (she begged)

Shyam: (shouting almost raising his had on her he stopped and said in anger) Lavanaya god help me control my anger the last thing i need is your drama just go do what i say or else i will sell you off to those soldiers or the neighboring state.

Lavanaya looked sad and disheartened by her brothers threats she was scared and worried Shyam was such a bully and to get what he wants he would go to any extent. How could she hit on Arnav he was more like a friend to her, a brother perhaps. Her heart belonged to one person only and that one person was Akash. She loved him she wanted to marry him and live her life with him. As she walked down the stairs in a crying state she bumped into Shilleena who was her best freind. Now Shilleena and Arnav hated shyam but both had a soft corner with Lavanaya because she was so cute and sweet in nature.

Shilleena: la what happened why are you crying

La: (hugged her) Oh shilleena (she cried)

Shilleena: La stop crying tell me what happened

La told Shilleena everything and she was so irritated she was about to walk up and give a peace of her mind to Shyam but La stopped her saying that they should not underestimate his powers. Shilleena was so irritated and she knew she had to find a way out because the kingdom in Shyam's hands go down in ruins and also it was the respect of their family, she knew she couldn't go to Arnav as well because he would explode and bring the whole palace down and La would be in trouble this had to be played smartly. La and she were sitting and talking when she came up with a plan.

Meanwhile Khushi walked into the palace she headed off towards her room when she bumped into Shyam, He gave her a creepy smile, Khushi just smiled back at him and then Shyam said

Shyam:  Hi i am the Kings advisor Shyam Jha, please to meet you madam

Khushi: (smiled and said) Hello kind sir my name is Khushi

Shyam: yes i know i was there that day, how are you liking the palace

Khushi: (shrugging she said) Its nice

Arnav who walked out of the study saw Khushii getting familiar with Shyam and he didn't like it even a bit, His heart boiled with the "CAPITAL J" he was so annoyed how dare he look at khushi, she belonged only to him no one else.  Arnav flinched as he walked firmly towards them. Khushi was shocked to see him. He looked so handsome in his princely  clothes.

Shyam: Your majesty good afternoon

Arnav: (nodded irritated he said) WHat is it

Shyam: (hesitant he said) I just came to say hello to Khushiji and wish her for the day

Arnav: (was sure short jealous) well it will have to wait Khushi and i have unfinished business to look at

Saying that he dragged her along with him to the other side of the palace where there was peace and quite, leaving Shyam standing there with anger written all over him.  Khushi was super muddled up with what was going and had not a clue of what was going 2 happen next. There was silence in the air and none spoke a word. They just looked into each others eyes with absolute intensity. Arnav broke the silence and said in a soft voice

Arnav: Khushi are you ok

Khushi: Yes Arnavji.. (she realized what she said and then covered her mouth and quickly said) I am sorry your majesty i really am please forgive me (she flinched in worry)

Arnav: (hearing her call him, that a warmth spread through him, and he smirked it had a ring to it and no one ever had called him that, perhaps Khushi could. He looked at her calmly and slowly pulled her close holding her waist he said) Calm down its ok

Khushi stopped her hyperness and then looked at him in utter shocked was he actually behaving himself and being nice to her she looked blank and then he said

Arnav: In fact i kinda like it you can call me that (he said with a smirk)

Khushi now really didn't know what to say, she looked at him with big huge eyes and her mouth wide open, Arnav though she looked adorable and too cute, he had to get her back to normal and s he said)

Arnav: Quit starring at me like that

Khushi: (shut her mouth and then slowly touched his head Arnav watched as she placed her warm hands on him. she said) Your ok na, is something wrong with you.... Are you sick

Arnav: (confused he ask) WHAT THE !! what do you mean

Khushi: (shocked answered) Your being nice to me thats why, i am mean since i have come here the only thing that i have done is spend time in your bed room doing you know what... (she paused and looked at him, he seemed calm and intrigued by her) Something is not right did u get up from the wrong side of the bed

Arnav: (rolled his eyes and said) Khushi relax i am not sick and i am nice because well i don't want you to feel like you are just being used for you know what, thats not why i kept you here(he hinted)

Khushi: (now getting curious folded her hands and asked him) really if i am not kept here for that then what is it. Why else have you kept me here

Arnav: (paused and stunned by her question, he took a deep breath and said in a calm voice) look i am here because i was thinking that for a change would you like to spend some time with me

Khushi: (even more curious said) what did u have in mind

Arnav: I am expected into town early this evening to make an appearance at the market place and i was hoping you would come with me since you know your way there, and after that we can come back and enjoy a cozy dinner at the palace sea shores and then head back if you are too tired

Khushi: (had no idea where all this was common from and so she said) OK Aravji i have no idea why the change of heart for me, but if you have planned so much then fine i will accompany you but there is one problem

Arnav: (raising his eye brows he asked) And whats that

Khushi: (explained) well you see the thing is that, since every one saw me in your arms on that day, they may think wrong i mean i am going to the market place after a long time what if some one questions me and asks me about my whereabouts ??

Arnav: Don't worry about that, no one can ever say anything to you they would have to go through me to get to you

Khushi was shocked to hear his answer what did he mean by that they would have to go through him to get to her. Whats going on with him she though to herself

Arnav: (put his hand out and said in a rather sexy husky voice) Chale

Khushi nodded and slowly slid his hand out in his hand and they walked down the stairs and got into the carriage that awaited them outside

Chapter 3

It was a deep plunge into her mouth she felt his tongue twisting around hers. His lips on her she had her eyes shut tightly. He intensified the kiss by slowly biting her lower lip she moaned, not realizing when she moaned in pleasure. She felt his taste in her mouth and she didn't know why but it seemed to grow on her. The warmth within her spread and she started to response all throughout the courting she behaved like a rock disinterested in what was happening, all she wanted was this torture to end quick. But when he kissed her and claimed her lips. She couldn't couldn't take it. Her body just responded and her heart just sank, her lips moved to the rhythm of his lips her tongue twisted to his tongue and as they danced in each others mouth. Both felt the heat and the passion for each other, it was a kiss that marked that they had something between each other. The kiss spoke a thousand words which they hadn't yet spoken and said out aloud. Arnav was award lover he made the kiss rough by biting her lips in the start and to show his power and claim over her. But slowly he went soft sucking her swollen lips drinking the pain he had given her, making her feel warm and protected and safe actually from the world. 

When the broke the kiss they started to breath heavily Khushi's eyes were shut not in fear but in pleasure Arnav starred at her seeing her reaction. Admiring her innocence he smirked and said in a husky voice 

Arnav: Tonight i have marked you as mine, your body belongs to me only, now one can ever touch you until i say. (he claimed her)

Khsuhi : (opened her eyes and starred at him in shock and said) But what about the 6 months 

Arnav: (fumbled a bit but then said) yes but after what you have done with me no one will accept you no one wants a used girl

Khushi: (shocked she said gathering her courage) no your wrong, he will the prince of my dreams will accept me, and he will accept me with all my sins and all my goodness and do you know why your majesty (she said in an angry voice)

Arnav: (intrigued by her smirked and asked) Why 

Khushi: because he loves me thats why, True love will take over and he will understand me i have faith in god 

Saying this she held on to the silk blanket and cover her body got up from the bed and ran from his room to hers in a big hurry leaving a shocked Arnav lying on the bed wondering what the hell just happened. 

It was a 2 weeks that passed by, and every night would be the same. Khushi would enter his chamber remove her clothes lie on the bed and Arnav would make love to her. Khushi would never respond at all only when he kissed her she would. it was true loves kiss that could only brake the barriers of this gap they felt for each other. Khushi often wondered to herself why would she feel so different when he would kiss her. What was the magic that it created. She was sitting in the garden on the swings with a nice bowl of grapes looking at the sun shinning as bright as ever thinking to herself why does the kiss have such an effect on her. What was so special about it that even when she thought of the kiss she blushed furiously. 

Her thoughts were interrupted with Shilleena who said 

Shilleena: Hi can i join you 

Khushi: (smiled and said) Your majesty off course come sit  (she made place for her to sit)

Shileena: (smiled and sat down and said) Khushi can we be friends please your really nice and i think we can be great friends

Khushi: (confused she said) yes your majesty off course  

Shileena: (smiled and said) great, so first things first stop calling me Your majesty. My name is Shilleena. 

Khushi: But how can i call you by your name your the princess

Shilleena: yes for every one else but in the palace i am Shilleena 

Khushi: smiled and nodded and then continue to look into the sky 

Shilleena: (noticed bu wanted to be quick to ask) So khushi how you liking the palace 

Khushi: its nice. Its huge and beautiful 

Shilleena: by the way have you seen the whole palace 

Khsuhi: (nodded and said) Yes i have Prince Arnav had shown it to me. 

Shilleena: talking about Bhai, how are things going with him. I mean whats up with that 

Khushi: (embarrassed she didn't know what to say, she said) Uh huh actually its ok i am mean its fine 

Shilleena: (giggling she said) then why do you look so sad 

Khushi: (shocked she said) Uh actually its just i am tired i didn't sleep well 

Shilleena: yeah yeah i know. (she then took Khushi's hand in hers and said with a soft loving smile) Khushi tell me whats really upsetting you. we are friends remember friends tell everything 2 each other 

Khushi looked at her and then in a huff she started off 

Khushi: Its just (she took a paused scared Shilleena encouraged her to talk Khsuhi said) Its just that Arnavji is so rough. I mean he is so rude and mean and when ever i talk 2 him he never looks at me. Its so irritating. Yeah i mean its nice of him to allow me 2 live in the palace but this courting things is not good. Don't get me wrong Shilleena, i am a simple girl i know i made a mistake but such a harsh punishment is not right. (she said with tears in her eyes)

Shilleena: (felt bad for her but then said) I know bhai is rough but trust me he is a good person by heart Khushi he really is. You have to get through all his layers to reach his soft spot and when you do its something that you will never want to leave again. 

Khushi: Prince Arnav and soft yeah right. That man is rude and so mean. He is such a beast Laad governor 

Shilleena: (giggled and said) What the !! LAAD GOVERNOR , Khushi your too cute 

Khushi: DO you mind if i ask you something 

Shilleena: yes tell me 

Khushi: This What the thing runs in your family or what, Every time i talk to the prince he always tells me What the!! What the ke aggey gadi chalti hi nahi hain 

Shilleena was laughing her ass off with Khushi she was adorable the way she complained about Arnav. She knew in her heart thats Khushi was the girl for him. Sending out a silent pray she decided it was time to play cupid and talk to Arnav. 

Arnav on the other hand was busy with his court talking about the expansion of the southern territories. When Shilleena  walked into the room they were almost done. As the council left Shilleen said 

Shileena: Bhai i need to talk to you 

Arnav: yeah tell me what is it 

Shilleena: you have been so busy since the past few weeks i just wanted to ask you how are things with Khushi 

Arnav: (looked flustered he said) Its fine why what happen 

Shilleena: You might want to go a bit soft on her 

Arnav: (confused he said) What do you mean 

Shilleena: well i was talking to her in the afternoon, she is really nice and so much fun to talk to. But anyway she was telling me that your so hard and you shout all the time at her 

Arnav: yeah so what should i do if she tried to touch my things, when ever she comes into my room she has this thing of tidying up saying that she wont come in bed until the room is spotless clean. Its so irritating 

Shileena: (trying to control her laughter said) Oh you men, all you think about is sex thats all. Have you ever sat down with her and spoken to her or get to know her. 

Arnav: (looked blank and said) I don't follow

Shileena: Bhai dont hide it from me i know well enough your feelings for her. And if i know you, then i can say that you are trying to tell her to stay. Has it ever occurred to you that she only with you now because she is forced to be with you. Don't you want her to stay in the palace happily. If you want that you have to treat her right. You have to earn her to make her yours and only then will she give herself up to you willingly (she went to him and placed her hand on his heart and said) not just from her body but from here as well. She will give you her soul 

Saying that Shilleena left from there and went to her room. Leaving Arnav to intensly think on what she said. His heart beating fast he harping on her words in his mind 

Meanwhile high up in the black tower was another who was smitten by her and he planned to take her away and make her his. Who was that man what was going to happen who would this fair maiden land up with it was only time that could tell 

Chapter 2

Flash back

She fainted on learning who she was. He caught her in his arms and picked up. The entire state saw they together none said a word. Shyam broke the silence by giving some silly suggestion but Arnav stopped him and said
Arnav: I want her to stay in the palace till she wakes up.  Shilleena I want you to be there when she wakes up. Make sure she doesn't leave the palace with out meeting me, I would like to talk to her before she goes

Saying that he walked in with the fair maiden in his arms looking like a prince with his princess. His eyes were on her innocent face her dough like eyes which were shut she looked so different so unique. He entered the bed chamber placing her on the soft silk bed. He was about to leave when he felt a soft tug on his collar and looked down to find her holding his collar tightly. He slowly disentangled her hands from his collar and placed her soft hands back on her chest. A tiny flit of hair was playing on her face it seemed to bother her. Looking over her angelic face he caressed it lightly and tucked it behind her ears. He could feel a funny sensation running through his vanes his heart rising up and down making his beat more impulsive. It was his beauty that was driving him insane. He raised his hands to her lips and lightly with his thumbs felt it caressing it. they were scarlet plump and as soft as a cushion  Oh how desperately he wanted to claim them right there. 

He was admiring her a bit when he felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up to find younger sister Shileena standing there. She smiled and said

Shileena: bhai she is pretty isnt she

Arnav: (just lost in her he said) she is beautiful

Shilleena giggled and Arnav came back to his senses and then straighten himself and said

Arnav: I mean she is ok (he said in a strict voice)

Shileena: (slapped his arm and said) dont lie bhai its all over ur face you have fallen for her \

Arnav: WHAT THE !! Shilleena i have not fallen for her or any body ok. yes she is beautiful but not that beautiful ok

Shilleena: yeah yeah right so u mean if say some other guy were to come and marry her you would be ok with it

Arnav's face went red and he started to build in with anger some one else and marry her no never the idea was preposterous. Shilleena calmed him down and said

Shilleena: relax bhai chill

Arnav got hassled and went from there entering his chamber he walked up and down in the pool side area in anger like a fierce beast  ready to attack. He couldn't take it Khushi being some one else was not possible he knew well that he had met her today but there was something about her that was driving him crazy like he needed to have her right way. He wanted to make her his and only his. But his mind told him that he couldn't marry her he didn't want to get married because he remembered his parents marriage. His father was a wise man but he failed when it came to his marriage he remembered his parents fighting at the late hours of night. He didnt want to deal with the stress of marriage.

So he decided to court her and keep her in the palace as a princess. But not get bound to her. He had to put in the 6 months clause so she doesnt feel like she is trapped. But then again he wanted to trap her and make her his. Only time could tell what kind of relation this would turned out to be. Asking one of his loyal subjects to find of information of her. he got cracking making sure their were no loose ends

End of Flash back

She went into her room and fell on the bed continuous tears came running down her eyes she couldnt believed that she had agreed to such an offer. As she cried and cried in helplessness her mind told her that she had made a mistake but her heart said that deep down she wanted to be close to him. There were strange emotions that played in her mind and she didnt know right and wrong. All she knew was that she was helpless he had threatening her she couldn't do anything she was an ordinary girl and he was the king the ruler of the kingdom. She knew she had committed a crime and had a price to pay. Her heart kept saying that she need not worry the one who loves her the most will understand the circumstances when the time comes.

Wiping her tears she stood up straight combed her hair making a silent pray to the gods she prayed they gave her strength for this. It was dark and time for her to go to his chamber. Approaching his room she stopped outside paused her heart beat, and she breathed loudly she said to herself "Chaal Khushi chal" she knocked on the door, there was no response. She waited and knocked again still no response waiting for some more time she was about to leave when she heard him say

Arnav: Its open come in

She said her last words and entered into his bed chamber. The room was so big it was like a house. It had a big bed. huge couches and paintings all over. Big ones small ones all kinds. As she admired his room he was in the bathroom, when he came out he was in nothing more than a pair of pants and completely shirtless. Khushi's eyes popped out seeing him like that. Arnav noticed a small smirked played on his lips. he approached her she got more scared. He said

Arnav: Remove your clothes and get on to the bed (he commanded her)

Khushi: (scared she said) how can i..

Arnav: (raised his eyes and said) how can you what

Khushi: (looking down she said) i cant i mean i am..

Arnav: (annoyed he said) look if u want to pay the price do as i say or i will make your life miserable

Khushi: (angry she said) Why do you keep threatening me like this, and how can you expect me to just quietly listen to you. I agree i made a mistake and i am ready to pay the prince. But not like this

Arnav: (seeing her fire was turned on he caught hold of her waist and pulled her close to him, her breast on his chest her lips close to his he said with a deep voice) your feisty and i like it.

Khushi breathed heavily not knowing what to say she shut her eyes his smirk got bigger he opened her batons  slowly revealing her skin removing her dress, he saw her in just her undergarments. Khushi was in shock she was standing necade in front of him.
He pushed her on to the bed harshly. She looked up at him. He looked back down came on top of her. They had an eye lock looking into each others eye deeply. Arnav slowly bent down to her chest and began kissing her neck, his hard beard was scratching her skin. He began with kisses and slowly went on to biting her. Khushi left out moans of pain. She was not use to it. She felt his hardness against her belly it seemed to bulge out. He kissed her chest and got rid of her bra seeing her hot curves he sucked on one while taking his other hand he went downwards towards her softness and started to rub it. Khushi started to leave silent tears out of her eyes. He played with her virgin softness which was hot and wet, at the same time sucking on her perfect molds.

After much of playing he went down towards her softness and removed his pants letting out his ever so ready hardness. Her eyes were shut she was scared she didnt even realize when she felt a spiking like feeling in her tummy. Arnav: (being soft he said) relax stay still (he knew she was crying so he didnt want to pressure her he wanted to calm her a bit. He couldn't see her cry)

Khushi couldnt take it she was in sever pain she could feel some liquid coming out of her. She relaxed he was inside her she held his back tightly and he began thrusting she flinched here and there digging her nails in him. Which he didnt seem to mind actually it turned him on. After a few seconds he slowly came off her and she started to breath heavily. He was still looking at her observing her. She looked tired and exhausted, Her eyes shut hair messy and her lips ever so ready. He bent below and slowly captured her lips into his mouth biting on her red flesh marking their first kiss, which took her by shock.

 

Chapter 1

The birds chirped away singing a sweet early morning song. As the sun shone in the blue sky. Khushi twirled on the bed with a smile on her face. She was dreaming about a man with dark mysterious eyes. He was strong and tall and looked handsome as ever. She bumped into him and he caught her in his muscular protective arms she looked into his eyes finding his sole deep within him. She felt her heart beat faster and faster when she couldn't control it any more she woke up with a start. She sat up on the bed and flashed opened her eyes, taking in her surrounding she found herself in a big room on a king size bed. It was dark as the curtains were draw but morning light seeped in through the curtains. She was confused how did she reached here getting up from the bed she put her feet down and felt a soft carpet. She got off and headed towards the first door she saw. Opening it she came towards the balcony and looked over it. The scenery around her looked so beautiful, she could see the mountains look lively and fade into the white fog. A smile appeared on her face, she looked down to see a man intensely thinking of something, As he watered his plants. He was tall and handsome similar to the face in her dream. The figure turned to the right revealing his full face and on seeing that Khushi's mouth dropped and her jaws fell. As flashback in her mind she remembered the previous day where she climbed the palace walls in excitement to see the prince and how she caught and fainted. It all came back to her. 

Her eyes popped and she didnt know what to say remembering what happened, when it was reveled to her that the man she bumped into was the prince himself. Now worry taking over her face she didnt know what to do she was embarrassed what would she say to him, and what will happen now. She was about to go in when she felt some one tap her from behind turning around she saw a young girl a princess. It was Princess Shilleena. She smiled and asked in a bubbly voice 

Shilleena: Hi good morning

Khushi: (smiled) good morning

Shilleena: i hope u slept well, i have been waiting for you all morning 

Khushi: yes i slept well but my head hurts a bit.

Shilleena: i can fix that come with me 

She held khushi's hand and took her in, making her sit on the chair she asked one of the maids to come in and told her to massage khushi's scalp with some nice cooling nut oil. As the maid dug her fingers into khushi's head she felt so good she shut her eyes and enjoyed the massage. Her headache reduced. The girl was tying her hair up when Shilleena asked 

Shilleena: so khushi where you from, i guess ur not from here because you never knew who the prince was (she giggled teasing)

Khushi: (blushed) I stay around the village in a tiny cottage near the river. (taking a pause she said a bit scared) I am sorry i messed your brothers coronation yesterday 

Shilleena: (giggling away she said) dont be silly you were the highlight of entertainment 

Khushi looked even more embarrassed. Shilleena noticed to lighten the mood she said 

Shilleena: Ok enough chitchat (she got up opened the cupboard to remove a light blue long gown  and said) here take this, have  a bath and where this and then come down

Khushi: (confused she said) but how can I your Majesty i mean i think its best i go home 

Shilleena: oh you cant go home you have to meet Bhai. He wants to meet you. 

Khushi: (scared she stuttered) m..meet me 

Shilleena: (tried to control her laughter she said) yeah he does, so come on fast get ready 

She said this and left the room leaving out giggles on the way shutting the door behind. Khushi was dead nervous and she removed her clothes and got into the hot bath tub as she washed her hair. Her mind was only stuck on one thing and that is what did the prince want with after yesterday how would she face him. As she got out she slip on the gown and looked at herself in the mirror. straighting the creases she combed her hair and headed down to the gardens where the prince was watering his plants 

Her heart was rising up and down beating incredibly on what is going to happen next, She reached the garden he was so into his plants but the minute she walked in he felt a light breeze blow over his heard.  He turned around and there she was, standing in a blue gown he looked at her from top to bottom taking in her figure the dress highlighted her curves so well making them look visible, he smirked to himself. She looked scared her eyes down, she was fiddling with the ends of her scarf. He came forward towards her and said in a husky voice

Arnav: So you came to see me 

Khushi: looked down continuously she didnt know what to say

Arnav: Why did you want to see me (he asked firmly)

Khushi: (hearing him raise his voice she got scared and started to babble off) look i am sorry i really am. please dont kill me i am sorry i ruined your coronation, i didnt mean to it was an accident (she went on and on)

Arnav: seemed to get annoyed with it, he held her by her waist and pulled her up front her bosoms resting in his chest she was shocked by this move, he covered her mouth with his hand and looked deep into her eyes and then said in a harsh voice

Arnav: Why did you want to see me khushi 

Khushi was blank she didnt know what to answer to him, he scrunched his eyes and said louder 

Arnav: Answer me dammit 

Khushi: Mhhh... Mhh (she screeched under his hand that was covering her mouth, he noticed it and removed it)

Arnav: tell me (he said expressionless)

Khushi: (looking down embarrassed and scared she said) I just wanted to see you, i didnt know what you looked i\like and then when chottu said he is going i tagged along. but i couldn't get a glimpse of you so i kept going further and i reached the palace (she said in one breath out of fear) 

Arnav: (for a second was taken aback by what she said he just starred at her, but he soon snapped out of it and said) you made a mistake by ruining the ceremony and now u must pay a prince 

Khushi: I dont have money your majesty

Arnav: well then you must pay it another way 

Khushi: what way (she asked confused)

Arnav: Sleep with me (he said bluntly)

Khushi: (shocked) What 

Arnav: (making it clear) sleep with me. i want you to stay in the palace for 6 months, as in when i can i will court you. 

Khushi: (now angry) Your majesty how can you demand something like this from me, i am not a girl to be used and thrown 

Arnav: (smirked at her anger) But as far as i see it you have no choice you have to listen to me. Dont worry i will keep you no less than a princess. You will have your own room and also will be free to roam around the palace during the day. But at night you are mine.

Khushi: (shouted) no never i will never do what your telling me to. i cant and i wont

Arnav: do you have a husband (he asked with a straight face)

Khushi: No 

Arnav: then i dont see any problem 

Khushi: Its not about being married i cant do this its against my ethics please your majesty there must be another way (a few tears fell off her eyes)

Arnav: (seeing the tears softened a bit but then came back to his senses saying) Look khushi either you listen to me or i will take away your little cottage by the river and then when u go from here you wont have a place to stay, you will be all alone and left to answer all the people in the village about what you were doing in my arms. there will be no one to give you shelter food or water (he threatened her)

Khushi: (was shocked she was quite unable to say a word she was lost and scared. but she knew she had no choice and so she asked softly) if i stay here will you make sure i am not treated badly and taken care off 

Arnav: (raised his eye brows and said) yes, you will but in return i expect you with me every night in my chamber (he made it clear)

Khushi: (took a deep breath, she didnt want to do it but she had no choice and so she nodded and said) Deal, but after 6 months i am free 

Arnav: (smirked and nodded and said in a husky voice) I will see you in bed chamber at night. 

Khushi nodded and went inside. while Arnav just stood their mesmerized by her.
